The KIFARANSA VILLAGE was founded in 2020 by Mr. Sammy SIMIYU and co- founders and is devoted to promote the French language, encourage reciprocal communication between all levels of French learning and reuniting the french community, as well as those who have an interest and passion to learn French.

The Kifaransa Village was incorporated in 2022 and, after established operations in Nairobi in patnership with Alliance Française , it extended its operations to the Coastal and Western/lake region, adopting a regional strategy under the regional executive officials in these regions.

Diversities.

The Kifaransa Village is an inclusive association, which seeks to build, value, honor and diversity in French language. Associations that are diverse in age, race, ethnicity, faith, gender identity, , and perspectives are better associations. To this end, we seek to create a community where educators, from any background, can promote French language around the world.

Aims.

KIFARANSA VILLAGE offers the invaluable opportunity to explore the language in real live situations by engaging with French speakers and exploring this cauthentic situations such as presentations, expositions, talents and music. It is a wonderful vehicle for bringing the subject of French to life as it reinforces what is learnt in the classroom through meaningful, unforgettable experiences with the aim of promoting the French language by bringing together Francophiles and giving them the opportunity.

Objectives.

• To foster a global community of French speakers and learners, providing a platform where members from diverse backgrounds can connect, network, and share experiences, regardless of their current proficiency in French.
• To facilitate cross-cultural exchanges by showcasing and sharing talents in various fields, including music, poetry, storytelling, writing, photography, social media, and event organization, thereby promoting cultural diversity and creativity on an international scale.
• To spotlight diverse talents expressed in French, emphasizing the universal and inclusive nature of the language as a medium for artistic and professional expression across global communities.
• To engage international communities and demonstrate the value of learning French, proving that the language is an invaluable asset that enhances everyday life and opens doors to global opportunities, both now and in the future.
• To promote language acquisition and teaching through innovative approaches, encouraging reciprocal communication and the mastery of French at all levels, while supporting the development of a global network of learners and educators.
